A weak front moved through last night, with a slight drop in humidity. This drier air will help us stay mostly sunny all day with plenty of dry weather. If we see a stray shower or two, it would be in the Florida Keys. A few showers are possible tomorrow, but the higher rain chances really ramp up Thursday and Friday with showers at times. Muggy conditions will be returning too.A high impact storm system is possible for part of the weekend into next week. A strong front will stall out over Florida. We will be on the south side, which will allow endless amounts of tropical moisture flow onshore. Expect numerous thunderstorms that hug the coastline. This could create a flooding threat Sunday and Monday. There will also be wind gusts of 30-40 mph those days. We’ll fine tune the details as we get closer.
